THE STATIONS OF THE CROSS SERVICE: The Good Friday evening service is a traditional service following the passion account through its various stages: Jesus' arrest, trial, crucifixion, and interment in the tomb of Joseph of Arimathea. The service involves Scripture readings, traditional hymns, and prayers. There is no sermon as the service is based around readings, hymns, and prayers.
