God was about to tell Moses the mysteries of the world, yet the children of Israel could not come up on the mountain with God, even though they were consecrated for the day. Was Moses more special than the others-how was he able to meet with God on the mountain?

Sometimes in life we get mired in activities without really thinking about the purposes that we are doing them. Have you ever overcommitted to the point of burnout or breakdown? Jethro, the father-in-law Moses teaches him how to share the load, and his good advice is instructive for us as well.
Sometimes we need to reorient our lives, and that starts with setting our eyes toward God, and then letting everything else flow from that.

Doing what is right in the face of an angry crowd can be a scary proposition. When tested would you rise or fall?
We have a Savior, Jesus, who has fulfilled all things. He faced angry crowds many times, but the victory He won on the cross on our behalf was greater even than the angry crowd that stood before Him.
